[NLRS] June VHF contest results are out

The ARRL has released the results from the June VHF contest .... check out  
the their members only website.   
 
The NLRS place 5th out of 23 clubs in the Medium category with 19  entries.  
Only the Potomac Valley (31) and Society of Midwest Contesters  (28) had more 
entries.   BTW, this is an increase of four Medium  category clubs from last 
year and a continuing pointer to increased  activity.   Badger Contesters 
placed 11th in the same class while the  Chippewa Valley group placed 2nd of eight 
clubs in the Local  category.   Congratulations to all three clubs for a fine 
showing this  year.
 
In the SOLP class, K9MU placed 3rd, N0KP 9th, and N0VZJ 10th in the  nation.  
 In the SOHP class, KM0T was 8th in the Nation.    In the rover class, W9FZ/R 
placed 6th.   A fine job by all !
 
Dakota Division winners were SOLP = N0KP, SOHP = W0GHZ, Limited Multi =  
N0EO, and Rover = KC0IYT/R
 
Again, congratulations to all and to all VHFers who participated and  
submitted their logs.
