[NLRS] RoHS and soldering

Hi all, Just a short question and thought here.  These days they are 
trying to get the lead and other bad things out of solder and circuit 
boards.  They call this the Restrictions on Hazardous
Substances (RoHS) and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
directive.
I'm wondering if this will change the way we do our work on surplus 
equipment?  What happens if you mix leaded and unleaded so to speak?

Maybe the answers simple, but if not, and someone knows about this it 
would be an interesting topic for AU or csvhf perhaps?
