Hello NLRS land. As many of you know, Field Day is about a month away.
The Twin Cities FM Club (TCFMC), located in St. Louis Park, is looking for
help to establish and run a VHF station. Here is cut & paste from Al, K0AD:

"Yes - if you could put out a request on the NLRS Reflector, that would be
great. Our Field Day location is in Louisiana Oaks Park at the intersection
of Highway 7 and Lousiana in St. Louis Park. We'll have HF stations on CW,
SSB and GOTA (Get on the air) and want to round it out with a VHF station. If
you get someone who is interested, just have them contact me. 73, AL, K0AD"

Their FD location provides shelter, power, rest rooms, etc. are all
provided. The ideal candidate(s) should be able to provide portable antennas for 6
and 2m along with masting, perhaps a push up mast or ??. This is an
opportunity for any NLRS member(s) who have an interest in FD to support one of the
more active local clubs and to do some cross training. In past years we
have often had better VHF propagation during FD than during the June VHF
contest.

If you are interested drop Al, K0AD, an email at aldewey at aol.com

73, Jon
