[NLRS] Northern Lights Annual Cook-Out July 16, 2005

Hi All,

This is to announce the Annual NLRS  cook out at Indian Mound Park, St. Paul
July 16, 2005

Starting at 10:00 AM  there will be:

	!0 GHz feed horn swr measurement and adjustment  by Donn WA2VOI

	Frequency  netting  using W0AUS beacon.   The frequency of the Beacon will
be within 50 HZ and you can see how your LO varies from start up  to a
warmed up frequency.

	Weak Signal contest to see who can hear the  weakest signal as the output
is reduced.   The signal source will be K0FQA and the attenuator will be
from W0AUS.

The meeting place  will be the field below the Search Light.

The cook out will be held at the base of the Search Light around 12:00 .
Bring your own food and drinks.   Gas grills will be available to cook  hot
dogs hamburgers or what ever you bring.

Bring your 10 GHz units and stories about the Rain Scatter operations.  By
the was several of the 10 GHers have two countries now on 10 GHz.
