I will be providing 2 and 6 meters for the WCARS club in our location in
Annandale, EN25wg, just north of Ford. We may be close to the ground with
meager antennas, but please point our way, I'd love to have our first VHF
on FD be a success.
Thanks,
Dan

Just sent the following off to a group of known FD 2005 VHF chairs.
Hopefully
some of you receieved this already. Just trying to shake some activity out
of
the woodwork locally. Obvisiously our club here in Winona will have some
HF
activity as the primary effort .... but would be nice to know how the VHF
activity is stacking up. Please reply back to me directly or use this
reflector if you like to promote your clubs activity. Would also be nice
to
have a list of 1D and 1E stations if any of you are doing that.

snip:
Just got all the equipment lined up for next weekend for the Winona ARC FD
here
in SE MN. Our site will be at a fairly favorable VHF location here in
EN44.
Just wondering what the rest of the groups are ending up with band counts
for
50 and above. For now we will have A,B,C,D,E, and I. Since 902 is almost
free
(same IF etc as 1296) I will plan on that too. Anyone else running this
many
bands??? Hope to see you all on the bands Saturday ... scheds welcome (esp
for
10G) -
73,
Matt
