With only 24 hours to play with, something has to go. So, my plan is to
truncate the June route and just go with a South - North up the Hwy 75
corridor in Western IA and Western MN.
I'll be starting in EN11-21 (near Onawa, IA) and then driving North to pick
up EN12-13-14-15-16 and as many of the nearby EN2X grids as possible. Any
information on good operating locations near Onawa, IA would be very helpful
as I don't Have a lot of time to pre-scout it out. Many of these locations
are somewhat off the beat and path so I'll need to make major improvements
in my 222/432 antennas (TBD). Plans are to operate 50MHz - 10 GHz in a stop,
elevate and point mode again.
I'll post a time line once the details are worked out. The time line is
somewhat dependent on the QSO latency time so I'd like to hear what you
folks think of using HAM-IM as a coordination mechanism for those who are
equiped with this capability?
Any and all suggestions for the August rover plan/route/coordination/etc.
would be appreciated.
73, Jim
