I have a mobile phone amplifier (transceiver) that came with my car (used)
when I bought it. I have no idea what frequencies it covers but something
in the 800 MHz range I suppose. It is a small package (approximately 1"H x
6"W x 8"L) and operates on 13.6 volts. If that is of use to anyone they can
have it if they pick it up.
