I set my dish up in the driveway and I also had to raise the dish up. I can copy the beacon when I point right at it and at several other headings. When I listen with the system on the tower I get a better signal looking at the beacon than I do off downtown. Elevation is not needed and I can hear it from many more directions. Gary W0GHZ
