 Hi Guys

All things being equal, I would hope to be available and operational
again for the Sept 10Ghz weekend.

From the weekend feedback I've heard so far, these are HUGE
single weekend scores being reported by the NLRS group.

  I continue to want to support NT0V, W0PHD, VE4MA & company,
and prefer to operate such that they will have activity, as I did the past
weekend. But I also want to support the NLRS efforts. I don't know of
anyones plans for Sept yet, but I am willing to do what I can. I do want
to have some Qs with Sisseton if it does not create too many
scheduling problems at thier end. Those were GOOD Qs from the 8
subgrids we worked stations in Sisseton.

As plans develop, please consider that I would be willing to explore a
similar rove in the RRV...

It is NOT my intention to be a "problem" for the NLRS group in any
way. If there are changes in operations that would allow Wally and I to
be included (or make it easier to be) included in your logs, please
communicate with me. IT is necessary for Wally and I to travel in
separate vehicles since neither of us have a van or a large enough
vehicle. So I hope we can avoid LONG drives for Wally. The 11 miles
at a time worked well for him.

I had good Qs with Dennis and Barry at the south end of my rove
yesterday, plus I was able to have SSB Qs then with Sisseton. If this
weekend was representative, perhaps doing a loop south of
Crookston would work better for Sisseton. It gives Barry and Dennis
longer distance Qs as well and CW is not a problem for them.

I will be interested in feedback from Barry and Dennis to see what
they thought about the past weekend. Dennis said he had around
30Qs from the home QTH. I think 23 of those would be Wally and I.
Wally and I a total of had 20 Qs with Barry.

Average distance for my 69 contacts was 212.88km

Oh what fun I could be having if I STILL lived in Grand Forks!!
