  Rovermaniacs and fixed stations,

  KC9BQA will be on 222, 432, 903 and 1296 for the contest.

Unless I'm just absolutely shutout from Q's to the Rovermaniacs,
I suspect I will be on for the entire time of the contest.

903 and 1296 is new here. I have stacked loop yagis up high,
and this QTH is a good one. I urge you to keep an open mind to
working some real DX and getting a unique grid. 432 is my best
band, as I have 2 separate beams and rigs on 432. I'm hoping that
having 35-45 degrees of beamwidth will be an edge in hearing all
of the activity.

I will have the Rovermaniac plans printed out and right here on the
desk with me at all times. I respect the heck out of all of you for your
efforts. To be honest, I'm not sure I'd go to the bother of these new
bands unless NLRS did so much to promote activity. Give yourselves
a well-deserved pat on the back.

Weather is looking great; can't wait for kickoff at 1pm Sat. Any
questions or sked requests, email direct.

I would also appreciate some testing of the 903/1296 capabilities
prior to the contest. This could be anytime tomorrow, tomorrow night
or Saturday late morning. We can start on 144, 222, 432 and move up.

  73 and safe travels,
  Todd KC9BQA EN63ao
