For those who caught Terry, W0VB, and Mike, KM0T, SDR presentation at
either Au'05 or CS05, you might be interested in the following just to
whet your appetite.

This is a page that uses the very same SDR console code as the SDR-1000,
however, it is a tiny (2" square) PCB that plugs into a USB port for
power. It provides a basic IQ 40 metre receiver which is tunable +/-
24kHz from the crystal's nominal frequency.
Looks like a fun project to play with prior to investing heavily in a SDR.
