At the recent Central States VHF Society Conference in Colorado Springs one
of our own NLRS members covered the cost for the hospitality suite. While
the conference was good, I can personally tell you that the Hospitality suite
was a HUGE success. Each night, including Sat night, I left the room at
around 12:00 midnight to 1:30 am and there were still eyeball QSO's in progress
!

N0KP has made a motion that the NLRS cover $100 of the cost of the
hospitality suite. At the conference that motion was seconded by KF0Q, N0UK, KD0JI,
K0SM, KM0T, VE4MA, W9FZ, W0VB, and W0ZQ. Dave's motion is consistent with
our NLRS history in supporting the CSVHF society and its' conference and it
is inline with our clubs preamble and objectives.

After sending in checks to the ARRL's Education and Technology fund for $100
and to QSL.NET for $200, the NLRS has $1,214 in its treasury.

Our club roster has 80 members. A quorum is 1/3 of our membership, or 27
members. In order to approve the expenditure of $100 in support of the CSVHF
Society, we need a simple majority of the quorum. Including myself and Dave
there are ten votes to APPROVE and none to DISAPPROVE.

Please let me know if you APPROVE of DISAPPROVE the NLRS supporting the
Colorado Springs CSVHF Conference with $100. I will report on the voting when
its completed and at our next NLRS business meeting in 2006.

73, Jon
