Here's the latest schedule. Baring any detours, etc. I hope to be on-time.
I'll be out in the sticks most of the time so please crank up the analog DSP
between your ears.
Starting in Northeast Nebraska (near Elgin) will allow me to activate EN01,
EN02 and EN11 before I head Northwest and join in the fray. I wish that I
could operate longer in each grid but set-up, take-down and travel times cut
into the overall schedule. I'll only be operating while stopped at these
locations with the antenna mast elevated. A modified antenna setup will
provide separate yagis so as to improve my chances of hitting the Twin Cites
from these locations (depending on propagation and site selection).
Bands will include 222-3456 MHz on the mast and 5.7-10 GHz (QRP) with a
portable dish for local contacts only.
I'll be leaving here (Lake Miltona) on Friday morning to scout the route
again backwards. Saturday morning I'll be scouting the Elgin, NE area to
confirm final site selection. So far I've been counting on DeLorme Topo maps
and that can be misleading. You can look my way on 222.125, 432.125 during
these times and on these bearings (from the Twin Cities):
