[NLRS] Last 100' of BPL?

Mike,

There are some implimentations that attempt to do this, while others use 
a WiFi unit on the pole to serve a couple houses.  The biggest problem  
with the former is how one gets RF to bypass the pole transformer.  I 
belive one solution is to put a cap across the primary and secondary 
windings pass RF while blocking 60Hz.  Of course, it would seem that 
this solution is the worst of the two, since you get lots of junk on 
your house wiring.  Look at the BPL references on the ARRL website 
(arrl.org).  There was a nice little pamplet on their that describe the 
various transmission methods.  Barry, VE4MA, gave an outstanding 
presentation on the subject at CSVHFS this year.
