[NLRS] AU update how was 144?

Had some fun last nite on 50Mhz AU etc... some new grids worked in
IA,MN,WI,IN,MI, later on AB and QC (missed VE5).  Conditions seemed to fade a
bit at 0400Z.  CW seemed to be the mode for the closer in grids but had long
qso on ssb with VA6 in D033 - no apparent distortion and very strong signal
here.
How was 144?  Removed my antenna in sept - probably be off the air at home until
I can get above the neighbors roof 25-30ft more.  
Any 222Mhz prop?
