In light of the good rainscatter conditions comming a note to all
interested; I am in the final stages of getting my station "rainscatter"
worthy. When finished I should have 5 to 7 watts available to my 3 foot
dish. I will be up for any other possible "DX " contacts as well. I am
wondering if any of the Minnisota group have portable equipment for 432
to use for "DX" laison communications. My experience is that 2 meters
will not cut it for more than a hundred miles or so. Early morning on
432 seems to streatch way out there without as many complete fade-outs.
Any comments would be welcome..
73's, Al
