[NLRS] Fun with rain scatter

Man, you guys are making me anxious to get my 10 Gig up and running.  A 
group of us over near Eau Claire ordered a few of those DEMI 10 Gig 
transverters last week, so hopefully we will be able to get in on the 
action too!  I wonder if what you guys were hearing on FM is doppler 
shift caused by the raindrops being blown away from or toward you at 40 
MPH more or less???  Is that a possibility???  Why do you use FM instead 
of SSB?  Maybe someone only has a 2M FM rig as an IF?  I think 10 Gig is 
going to be way more fun than I even initially thought!!  =:O  Is it 
possible to have TOO much fun?
