I finally got enough documentation to get the 5760 TWTs working. Using =
a Down East transverter, I get 20 watts output. The amplifiers are =
complete with power supply. They require -48 VDC at about 4 A. These =
are really rugged NEC units. I will bring a couple of them to Midwinter =
Madness if anyone is interested.
I also have some of the WE-61 elliptical waveguide with WR-137 fittings =
for each end. WE-61 is rated for 5.6-6.2 GHz with a loss of 1.25 dB per =
hundred feet. If anyone is interested, please let me know by Thursday =
so that I can cut and coil for transportation. $100 for a hundred feet =
and two connectors. The waveguide will roll up to 4 feet diameter coil.
