Not out to win any award, but to have fun and see what
can be done....*L* but of course as many Q's as
possible. I may run a couple times strictly CW....or
Darrell and I may switch HF & VHF so as to change the
"scenery" or run CW/PHONE for VHF...I can send better
than him....we are computer decoding.

Tis is the plan, but drive/setup/teardown time is
included in county time.

We will have the 10 meter rig running SSB and the 2
meter rig running FM....though the longest travel time
is between Dunn and St. croix...everything else is
about 10 minutes drive tops. the separate rigs for
driving save on interior setup for sitting...believe
me we will be heard on 10...got the old footwarmer
running there.

Will do.

Starting in Eau Claire county, and no bonus points for
that one, but we are making a showing in that county
for 15 minutes air time.

No tape, but I am going to make sheets for the
counties. Darrell and I are old hands at scribble
logging. And I have a little Zulu clock to be put
between us.

146.550 is the one to watch...and will have it on in
the background while sitting also.
This is an excercise in rovering. the van is not
set up yet for super roveing, but this is a test for
us to see what we can actually do with a travel/setup
type of run. I will most likely be running 20, 40,
and 15 (in that order) while sitting, with a little 80
and 10 thrown in...but short sit time and band changes
are a pain. Dedicated separate 10 meter station for
running down the road. I will be calling out on 10,
and Darrell will be logging 10 and calling/logging 2
meter.
It should be interesting. we won't take the silver
platter, but it will be fun...and that is all that
counts. AND remember...this is all dependant on
weather also...I really don't feel like driving
blizzard conditions in a wind blocking van for 150
miles or more.
