Great idea Jim. A rover can be a one or two person team. There are
several advantages with the team approach that include grouping of
equipment, helping with the work, sharing the fun, learning from others,
and increased safety via two sets of eyes and the buddy system.

Regarding W0ZQ/R, I got my 2304 working with the new IF rig this weekend
and also successfully debugged my 3456 transverter .... I'm currently in
the process of adding a Toshiba amp to it. After that its 1296 and work
on the rover-rack.

Only six weekends left until RoverMania. That's right, six weekends.

PS: What are rovers using for 13.8vdc power distribution these days ....
power poles and ??

I'm still planning to rove during the August UHF test. Tentative direction
would be to activate some of the grids North and West of the "pack" running
222MHz -10GHz. We're working on inviting local rover wannabe's ride along
to
"get-the-fever".
