It's always go to get some fresh air!

VHF operations during field day with the Runestone ARC in Alexandria, MN
(EN25) was somewhat frustrating with the very high power line RF hash at the
City Park. The rover mounted mast supported one 2M9SSB @23' and two stacked
6 meter Stressed Moxons (@18' & 28').

The highlight was the 6 meter opening on Saturday from 07:45 - 09:30 GMT.
Approx. 90 stations were worked on SSB ranging from South FL through Oregon.
Only 3 contacts were made on 2 meter SSB/CW due to the noise level.

CQs using WSJT 2 and 6 meter calling frequencies yielded only a few legible
decodes using FSK441A mode during many long hours of operation. Here again
the noise level was too overwhelming for any demonstration (or the extra
field day points). The Off-line demo decodes helped get others interested in
trying this mode.

The good news is that it was too cold for the mosquitoes to bug us.

Next year will be at the a relatively quiet site near Alex. with more
antenna gain.
