Hi, Glen. I can't say I found the best spots in that grid corner, but
if you look at my web page about the September 2002 VHF rove I did, you
can see the spots I used.
Virtually ALL of Elbow Lake is in EN15/EN16, only a tiny portion of it
extends into EN25/EN26. Certainly, none of EN25/EN26 is West of the lake.
My full writeup is here:

If you have a slow internet connection, you may want to go right to the
map I have of the locations I worked from:
http://www.tc.umn.edu/~tosca005/2002-09-VHF/ElbowLakeCorners.jpg
Again, these locations were picked to be very close together (very close
to the grid intersection), and were poorly scouted in advance. I did
not make any attempt to use Radio Mobile on them. But as the web page
points out, my first two planned stops (red dots on the map) had to be
relocated because even though they looked OK on the topo maps and the
satellite images, it turned out they were located on a private farm
field with a house, two farm sheds, and a large metal building in the
way. So I had to find two more usable locations to replace them. The
locations I actually used were the green dots on the map.
Good luck!
