I plan to be in Fargo, ND the weekend of August 7-8. I'm not sure how much of
the contest I'll try to work, but I think I'll be on for the first and last
few hours. I'm thinking of starting the contest in the EN15-EN16-EN25-EN26
grid corner near Elbow Lake. I'll spend about 45 minutes in each grid and
leave for Fargo by 5pm. I haven't decided what I'll try working Sunday.
Given the gear I'm running, I'm probably not going to do well when I'm on the
west side of the state, so I'll probably head back towards the twin cities.

I don't have a lot of power, or very large antennas for these bands:

 222: 5w xverter, dipole.
 432: IC706MKIIG @ 35W, 23 el. K1FO (homebrew) or 11el (6') QuickYagi
 902: KK7B 9W xvtr, WA5VJB 9 el. homebrew Yagi
 1296: DEMI 1296-144 3W, 24el (6') Directive Sys. Loop Yagi
 10G: DEMI 10368-144, 2W, 18" dish (not completed yet).

I haven't scouted locations near either grid corner. If anyone familiar with
the area would like to make suggestions, I'd appreciate them. I've looked at
the area with Radio Mobile and it appears that the best locations in 25 & 26
are east of Elbow Lake.

Glen, KC0IYT
