Not clear that they're more stable.  The auction text claims their PN is
worse, actually.  Unfortunately you can't tell if the analyzer photo is 10
kHz wide or 10 MHz wide, hi!

They are fairly wimpy, too, with only 1 milliwatt output.  Low-power X-band
Gunn diodes are generally rated from 10-100 mW output.  The corresponding
reduction in power dissipation (assuming there is a reduction) would reduce
drift all by itself, but not necessarily noise.
