[NLRS] Tropo & Rovermania ... can it happen ?

Hi All -

Can it happen.  Yes.  Will you be ticked off it you miss it?  Yes.

In 1994 a couple of us decided to pull together an impromptu multi-op on Buck 
Hill.  We had 222 & 432 with 100 watts and small yagis and 1296 with 10 watts 
and a looper.  2304 was a watt and small loop.  We got in on some tropo and 
ended up working Alabama and Maryland on 1296.  It was incredible!  I was 
working a pile-up on 1296 CW while we also had a 222 & 432 pile-up going.  

If the bands open up, you need to be there.  I know the chances are slim but 
I'm getting excited about the slight chance of tropo.  If it happens, this 
will be a contest that will not be forgotten.  Many, many well equipped rovers, 
lots of good home stations, portable op's.  I can see people with LOTS of new 
grids and some HUGE scores.

I'm putting the final touches on the new 432 yagi.  I may be testing on 222 & 
432 one of these evenings (or Saturday morning).
