Hi All -
I know we've talked about all the rovers going out next weekend for the UHF
Contest. I haven't heard much from the rest of you as to who will be active as
single-op's, multi-op's, etc. We need to have a bunch of operators in every
category. I have a feeling that an Upper Midwest station could be the top
scorer in every category. I think it would be great to have a "clean sweep!"
We have considerable rover activity covering about 35 grids. I need to know
who else will be out portable and who will be active from home.
I think it is a possibility that a station could get on the air next weekend
and work their VUCC on all bands 222 MHz - 10 GHz! We need a bit of luck and
a bit of tropo. Keep the fingers crossed and tune up those rigs and antennas.
Let us all know if you'll be operating in the UHF Contest.
