Good on all Jon...here are a few more tidbits....

No problems here, this is the way we have all come to expect.

Roger roger...I feel the same way, but with some more thought, ideas and
input from others, is there some merit for this? Would/Could it help?

Fair enough, I guess what I meant was for fixed stations, I really wound not
be concerned while running others on 100 above 902 Mhz...
Normally though when running a rover, I would plan on using the rovers freq
unless they did not care one way or the other.
And I can see in the metro area where it may be an issue from a QRM
standpoint. I just never experience that down here on the high bands very
much, and when I do, its normally not a problem.

Yes, need to eliminate chit chat on the rover freqs, unless we (fixed
stations) are passing infomation on where they are at. This is helpful.
One more big thing......
Patience will be important. I am probably one of the biggest offendors of
this, but I can see with the upcoming project we all have, I am reminding
myself that we need to ALL work together in a unified manner so that we can
ALL be successful.
What this will mean, and invariably it will happen, rovers will be waiting
on fixed stations, and fixed stations will be waiting on rovers, and rovers
will be waiting on rovers and fixed stations will be waiting on other fixed
stations from time to time. This can and will test the patience of all
(especially me :) and I will do my best to get back on freq to get going
with the next stations.
When it does not come together, and it may happen here and there, one should
not get all juiced up about it. The thing everyone needs to know is that
some of us - based on the rover's schedules and location and bands, one has
to pick their battles and go with it on the fly what will make it their best
individual outcome. This means minimizing your own losses or maximizing
your gain, however you look at it.
I think in general, the NLRS and Badgers cooperate very well about helping
each other out on where rover A or fixed B is. This is not new and I think
we have done well in the past. I dont know if Im making sense here or just
rambling, but I just feel that its good to think about these things and
remind ourselves of our goals, but with helpful hands.
If conditions are good, none of this will matter cause we will all be
hearing each other well and have no issues working anyone.
Thats it.
