Just a brief update on W0PHD's 10 GHz work today. Jon K0FQA ,the old 10 GHz
master from the Cities, did get over to Wally's this morning and about 2:30
pm VE4MA worked them both on CW.

At around 3:40 pm Wally and Jon moved down south about 10 miles and setup
with better signals to give me EN17. We were blessed with more
thunderstorms, this one near the border and west of the straight shot. We
had much better signals off the RS and had SSB and FM contacts, with my
signal S9 at times (only 130 mile path) and ~S2 in reverse (50 W vs 2).

Wally and Jon then moved over to OSLO ND and at 4:40 pm I worked W0PHD 559
on CW direct path with the best signal so far K0FQA was 42 on SSB.

We shifted the antennas over to the storm system that was now east of the
direct path and we linked up there for good CW and marginal SSB/ FM QSOs.

So Wally (& I) have had a lot of fun in the past 24 hours! Amazing that it
has been 38 years since I first worked Wally on 432, and he is still having
fun. I am sure Wally is ready to look for Bill K0AWU and the group in the
Cities when conditions allow. Unfortunately it looks like the rainy season
is about to end as a big High pressure system settles in to give us good
tropo

Thanks Wally & Jon

Barry VE4MA
