Hi All -

I'd like to update everyone on the UHF Contest and make a pleas for more
people to head out portable or as rovers.

I've got a few potential rover schedules and I've started to overlay them on
a map. I thought I'd share the grids that only have one rover or no activity
at this time.

One Rover
EN03, 04, 05, 06, 20, 26, 30, 36, 41, 45, 46, 51, 52, EM29, EM39.

No Rovers
EN00, 01, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 17, 18, 19, 27, 29, 29, 37, 38, 39, 40, 47, 48,
49, 50, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59 and all of the 60's.

I'd like to encourage everyone to think about running out portable. Find a
medium sized yagi and head out. The antennas are smaller for the UHF bands and
a medium sized yagi at 15 feet can be quite productive. You don;t have much
feedline loss so the signal can be really nice.

There should be someone who can fill in some of the grids up the northshore.
We could also use someone out in central Wisconsin. Anyone up near
EN07/08/17/18 that can fill in a hole or someone down by EN00/01/10/11?

If you have questions about locations or roving questions, please post them
to the group. There is a lot of knowledge within our group regarding roving,
UHF contests and portable locations.

73 & Happy 4th
