I've done a bit of analysis and have optimized my route for RoverMania. I
still plan to activate the same 12 grids, but by starting the contest at
one grid corner further south I can reduce my contest driving time by two
hours. Doing so then allows me up to 30 minutes to move between adjacent
grids (vs 20 minutes under the previous plan) and should (!!) get me to the
Winstead grid corner by 7:15 am Sunday morning in plenty of time to work
EN24/25/34/35.

With this plan I will start the contest at the EN33/32/33/32 grid corner
near Algona, Iowa. Here is the updated plan.

EN33 1:00 PM Near Algona, Iowa
EN32 2:30 PM "
EN22 4:00 PM "
EN23 5:30 PM "

EN12 9:00 PM Near Orange City, Iowa
EN13 10:30 PM "

EN14 1:15 AM Near Lake Wilson, MN

EN15 4:00 AM Near Madison, MN

EN25 7:15 AM Near Winstead, MN
EN24 8:45 AM "
EN34 10:15 AM "
EN35 11:45 AM "

I also have tentative plans to add 902 and 5760. Here is the updated
station status:

222 120 watts, pair of stacked omnis. Also will be using a 4 element
yagi.
432 Parts are in for the broken FT100D. Hope to repair this weekend.
100 watts to 6' boom yagi.
902 W0GHZ may have some stuff for me. My small yagi.
1296 50 watts and 6' boom loop yagi.
2304 6 watts and 6' boom loop yagi.
3456 Under construction .... smoke test this weekend. 40 watts and 5'
boom yagi
5760 200mW to a 13 dB horn.
10G 22" dish and 6 watts. This will need to be deployed at each stop.

73, Jon
