[NLRS] MN QSO Party VHF NLRS assault?

I think there was one brief email about this earlier.

I'm willing to keep my vehicle glued together in a VHF style through the
MNQP.

I wouldn't expect the kind of activity we had this weekend, but is there
more than W9FZ, W0ZQ, N0KP, and KT8O who would make a serious VHF or
VHF-only effort for the MNQP? By that I mean, I'd take the entire rover,
and if the rules permit, make new Q's on each of the 6, 2, 222, 432, 903,
1.2, 2.3, and 10g bands. I'd be up for activating a bunch of counties and
see if we could blow the MNQP records out of the water for VHF only entries.
Further, there is a chance that a bunch of NLRS entries amalgamated into a
"club" score could really surprise some folks.

Can someone check the rules? http://www.w0aa.org/ ... follow the link to

I wouldn't operate for as long in each county as I do in each grid, but then
again, there wouldn't be as many guys to work. I'd work who was there and
then move on. I don't tend to operate on the fly, but I could just find
places to pull over and point at the cities or the rest of the state.
That's another benefit, there wouldn't be many out of state operators to
point for on VFH. Could be a few and the Q's would be welcome--time will
tell.

Are there any other rovers that would keep their rovermobiles glued
together?

Oh sure, I'm actually a little burned out on rovering at the moment, but
putting my car together is such a big deal that I don't want to do it twice.

Chirp up with a responce if you already intended to participate in MNQSOP or
are now considering it.
