I don't know if there is a "standard" per se but in the Medical 
electronics industry that I come from we used the following colors 
for specific voltages:

+ 5 VDC = Red

Analog return (neg. side of single ended power supply)  = Black

+15 VDC = Orange

Common (for +/- power supply) = White

- 15 VDC = Gray

Chassis ground = Green or Green with yellow stripe. NEVER USE GREEN 
FOR A VOLTAGE SOURCE. Green ALWAYS means GROUND!

I don't know what to suggest for 24 or 48 V as I never worked with 
those voltages in the industry.

Black is usually a good choice for the Negative side. As a 
suggestion, perhaps you could use Yellow for 24 V and Orange for 48 V.
