So if the antenna I start out the contest breaks, I can't switch to a backup
antenna? Or if the radio I start out with dies, I can't switch to a backup
gradio?
The only two rules I've found that seem to apply to Kris' situation are:
1.3 equipment used under one callsign cannot be subsequently used under
another callsign (prevent manufactured contacts)
2.3.6 rovers may submit a fixed single-op in addition to a rover
