Hi all,

I operated as a local rover in EN34 and EN35. I spent some
time in each grid both days. I wanted to be sure that the
serious rovers got EN35 on the higher bands. I spent quite
a bit of time calling CQ on 432, if you missed me sorry. I
did catch KMØT and KØJO on CQ's. Not bad for 10W and
an 8 element Quagi at 15'.

The scoring breakdown is:

Band # QSO's # Grids

222 10 2
432 37 7
902 7 2 (finally worked EN35. Tnx
ZQ!)
1296 15 3
2304 10 2
3456 5 2
5760 6 2
10368 13 2

Total 103Q 22 + 2 rover grids = 24
Score 16344 pts.

That beats my score from last year. I missed some of the
locals and some rovers in the adjacent grids. Since I didn't
work those grids on any band my score could have been
doubled if I had worked them. I had the common problem.
the rover was running the bands with the fixed stations
and even though I could hear both ends of the contact I
couldn't break in for a contact. I guess I will have to get
bigger antennas and more power!

Thanks to everyone for the contacts and to the rovers for
going out.

Let hope this wasn't the last UHF contest.

73, Gary WBØLJC
