The 2004 MN QSO Party contest results are posted and can be seen at
_http://www.w0aa.org/mnqp/2005/mnqso.html_ (http://www.w0aa.org/mnqp/2005/mnqso.html)
. The NLRS led all clubs with 15 entries. Since many of us operated in
the VHF class our scoring system was at a disadvantage compared to HF
operations, yet our club placed 3rd overall just barely getting nudged out of 2nd
place.

Congratulations to Bruce, W9FZ, for winning the VHF class. Bruces score
will be tough to beat. Its interesting to see that Bruce had 349 contest QSOs
while the HF QRP winner had 305 and the HF multi-op winner had 365 .....
evidence that you can make a lot of VHF QSOs when you want to.

Congratulations to Rich, N0HJZ for not only submitting a VHF score, but for
also taking FIRST PLACE in the Low Power HF class as well ! As I recall, I
think Rich was fighting RFI problems all at the same time !

Check out the write-up and scores and set your calendar for the Feb 5th,
2005 running.

Again, congratulations to Bruce, Rich, and the NLRS for a nice showing.

73, Jon
