I worked Bill, K0AWU, EN37ed, from the Burnsville location in EN34is on rain
scatter at about 5:36 PM local. Bill was a good 58 to 59 on SSB and we were
able to switch to FM. On FM there was the familiar cracking sound that is
heard, but full quieting signals. The beam heading was about 5 to 10 degrees
west of the true path and I found the aiming to be VERY critical suggesting
that the storm cell was small, or a long ways away for me. The wind was very
strong as I had to keep one hand on the dish at all times.
That's grid #5 for me from EN34is ; VE4MA, KM0T, K0AWU, plus EN34 and EN35.
Thanks for the 5th grid and for the persistence Bill.
73, Jon
