A take away from this email -=20

W0VB has two Msquared 2M8WLHD antennas up, one for horizontal and one =
for vertical polarization! Including elevation control. (Worked KB8RQ =
off the moon on random Monday 9/22/03 at noon just hours before the =
contest - vertical polarization worked! horizontal did not.....)

Purpose: two fold
     1.) Experiment with aurora signals
2.) Give first hand experience to the newcomers (and some of us =
old-timers)=20
the effects of cross polarization. Send the newcomers my way!

It was good to hear a fair number of people on for the contest....... =
since it was right on the heels of the September VHF Contest, I didn't =
know what to expect.

However, it did let me test my newly installed antennas and see if they =
performed!

The September contest caught me up in the air putting up my replacement =
antennas...... so I didn't get but a few hours in over the contest =
period.

My stats for the Fall Sprint from EN34qb running about 950 watts out:

Qty #Grids =20
 32 16

Antennas up and operational:
Qty Antenna
----- -------------------------------------
1 2M8WLHD yagi (55 ft long) up at 60 ft - Horizontal polarization
1 2M8WLHD yagi (55 ft long) up at 60 ft - Vertical polarization
4 Big Wheels with a 4-way power divider
