Yep, good one Brent. Perhaps this gets back to our brochure thought that
was bouncing around before, or, perhaps a more simple sheet like Bob &
Lenny had to hand out at their presentation. If we had such a resource
on our webpage anyone could access it, run some copies, and bring them to
any hamfest (hint hint).
In the past, some of the discussion has been around a brochure to assist
rovers .... not sure that the primary audience is the same as what we may
want here. Again, perhaps we can have more than one (brochure) resource
that is target specific, one for general club information and one for rover
support.
I think if someone wants to pursue this they should bring a (brochure?)
proposal forward that we can pass around at breakfast and talk up on our
reflector & Sunday night nets for review then work with our webmasters
(K0SHF and W0JT) to uploaded it onto the NLRS website where it can become a
resource for all to use.
I think there was some effort in this area a while back, but it kind of
fizzled ..... perhaps I dropped the ball. In any case, if the interested
parties want to resurrect this now is a good time to do so. Again it
needs to be website friendly and easy to download & produce for paper
distribution.

The one thing I noticed in the time I spent at the table was that
passers-by wanted something to help them remember about NLRS when
they got home (i.e. the web site address, etc.). Unfortunately we
didn't have anything to hand out.
A small stock of business cards printed up with the web site URL,
a list of the weekly nets, and the monthly breakfast schedule might
be a good addition. This would hopefully result in a few more people
joining the email list, coming to breakfast, and checking in to the
nets.
Thanks,
Brent
