Hi all,

There was some activity this morning on the bands from
900 MHz and up. Those who were active in the Microwave
Sprint will have to fill in the details for most of the bands.

I was active on 10G from the Pilot Knob road site. This site
is at the north end of Pilot Knob road in Mendota, just east
of the Mendota bridge and south of Hwy 55.

Jim, K0KFC, and I had a sked at 11AM on 10G. Jim was in Frederic,
WI, EN35tp. The distance is 65 miles. Nothing was heard on
either end. Gary, W0GHZ, transmitted to Jim from home. Jim heard
a few bursts but no contact was made. The location I picked did
not have a favorable takeoff to JIm. There were many close by
trees.

Jon, W0ZQ, and Dave, N0KP, went to a new site near Lonsdale, MN
in EN34hm. Radio Mobile shows this area may have direct line of
site to the Minneapolis buildings. Jon looked with a telescope
but didn't see any buildings through the haze. Both Jon's and
Dave's 10G signals were 59 bouncing off the buildings, so there
is a useable path.

Dave also worked 5.7 GHz with Gary from Lonsdale and Bob
from a site in Shakopee.

Bob, W0AUS, and Lenny, K0SHF, got on from near their homes.
They worked everyone who was on 10G.

Listen on 146.46 at 9AM tomorrow for updates on Sundays activity.
We would like to try some paths from Monti, Elk River, Fletcher, Loretto
and Flying Cloud to some of Mel's sites near Rochester. All are
welcome to come and join in the fun.

73, Gary WB0LJC
