I was just rummaging through my desk looking for a logbook to use today for
the SS CW. I found a book from 1989 in my NC9F days. I flipped through
looking for an open page or two and came across the following activity on 6 meters.
It began November 11,1989 during F2 season at (sigh) a higher point on the
cycle.
The period measured is from 11/11/89 through 12/31/89.

Here goes: 9Y4VU, ZS3KC, ZS3DM, OH1ZAA, PA0HIP, G4CVI, GI4GPC, HC5K, G3WOS,
G3CEG, KL7NO, KL7HBK, VK4BRG, HC8GR, VY1AU (YUKON, CP20) NL7OW, GI8DZ, KP4BZ,
VE2EFL, VE2BK, CO2CB, G0JHC, KA0KKO (EN26 on AU) V29OA, FM3AG, J37AE.

The next 6 meter activity was on 2/27/90. LU1VK, CX8BE, LU8YYO, YU5ZZ, PJ9JT
HK4EB. Looks like TE. I guess this shows that we should always pay
attention. Does anybody else have memories from that time?

Ah yes, the "Magic Band."
