The bandpass filter may help, if the noise in band is coming from
something out of band overloading your receiver front end. If the noise
source creates the inband components, only burying the noise source will
cure it. Its possible some sort of DSP noise or carrier reduction may
reduce the signal, at the cost of killing CW signals too. If its
clobbering your receiver, its probably clobbering their TV and FM BC
receivers too and they are blaming that on you.

Since you can null it with beam heading, it would be possible to pick up
some with a fixed beam and work up a noise cancellation box, but that
would need to be recanceled for every beam heading and probably would
not exactly repeat for the same beam heading indication.
