When last we left our story our flying hero was going back into urgent =
care on Monday to get X-rays of his ribs and hip. Fortunately, there =
were no fractures or other bone problems. Lucky guy.
Late Monday night I started noticing my tongue feeling funny. By Tuesday =
morning my speech was slurred as if you had to many scotch's. They =
called me back into ER at 10:00am and did a one hour MRI of my head and =
neck. It took them most of the day to evaluate the pictures but again =
fortunately did not find any additional problems. They think there is =
stress to CN12 (twelfth cranial nerve) This is unusual and they are not =
sure it is related because there is no stress to the other CN's. I am =
now scheduled to see a specialist about it next Friday and Now I have a =
new drug, Prednisone. I got home at 6:00pm last night.
On a good note I am getting around better with less pain and worked =
through some sit-ups and push-ups this morning. =20
This way to much relaxing for a type A personality.
