I use a HR2600 for 222 and a HR2600 with a 2m DEMI board in it for 2304
Carl. I'll send ya some pictures of my HR2600 222 mods tonight when I get
home. Don't know if these are the same mods as those in the ref. article,
but they work.
For my mod's, I took that tiny schematic that comes with the HR2600 to a
copy machine, blew it up so that you can sorta read it, and used that to
figure out what was what on the PCB. No PCB trace drawing, but you can
figure it out. It helps to have a bright light to illuminate the
underside of the PCB while you look at the top of the board; board traces
show up as shadows while the light tends to show through the no-trace PCB
material. You can usually follow traces around and match them up with
components and figure things out this way. I found that the schematic was
accurate but the component number was not necessarily right.
