Thank all of you very much for the info.  I can't imagine why the
Antenna Book said that people put hinges on trough reflectors for
transport when it would obviously be a major ordeal to transport
them.

Oh well, I guess it was too good to be true after all.  I guess it's
back to building Yagis.  Any of you know of a good comprehensive
illustrated guide to baluns?  I know how to do 4:1 and 1:1 in a
reasonable, but I'm hoping there's such a thing as a 6:1 lurking out
there somewhere to match a 300 ohm folded dipole to 50 ohm coax.
