[NLRS] If I wanted to be a beacon...

Greetings all

The route I am following is to use a 6ghz brick feeding a doubler
that is acting as a quadrupler. Most likely will put a pin diode
attenuator in line for keying. For the antenna, I can either use
a nice 12 inch wx proof dish or for a more practical approach, get
a slot antenna machined from a hunk of WR42. This whole approach
is going with the scrounged parts methodolgy.

know and hope that some of you fine folks have some ideas. Cause Im
going to central states in a few weeks and perhaps parts may show up?

for testing, etc. Perhaps just set up when doing 24 ghz with a 17 db
horn, that way with that wide beamwidth, would make it easy to find at
least one side to get pointing going.

power out, 5mW. It would drive one of those new 1 Watt amps really
nice. However, it too would seem to far away from 24,192.100 for any
good use. To much QSying around.

that makes no sense.

24,192 Ghz with a 2x Mult. Stability would be nice.

have heard that PLL would be good for freq stability. But tend to be
noisey? Perhaps as a beacon, this is not an issue.

resolved.
