I agree with the proposals and would add that when conditions are weak,
last Friday that was when distance was greater than 100 miles, I would
favor Meteor Scatter procedure where you alter what you are sending
only based on what if anything you have heard. With moderate signals,
75 to 100 miles I want to send the calls and or report five times, not
just three. I am also on the hunt for a memory keyer to improve my
mistake rate in sending. I also want a checkout run before I drive
that far again to compare my receive capability. All your suggestions
are well taken by me.
