And those of us on the other side of MSP to the
southeast will have even less of a chance to hear you
(or you hear us) if you stick to .200. A good strategy
to do when it gets quiet on your prefered non .200
frequency is to go back to .200 stir up the bees nest
and then QSY up or down the band 20 or 30 Khz right
away, everyone will follow. As you do that be sure to
ID profusely and state your QSY to frequency and
intended actions equally profusely. There's nothing
more frustrating than tuning around the band to hear
signals and infrequent ID's or someone say "see you on
band X" but no actual frequency.
