Hi All -

I saw the June VHF QSO Party results on the ARRL website and took a look. I
saw a couple encouraging things:

1) The NLRS took 5th place in the Club Competition in the Medium Club
category. We turned in 21 logs which was the third highest total. Great job
everyone!

2) Mike, KM0T, took 2nd place nationally in the Single Operator, High Power
category. He was only beat by Jeff, K1TEO in CT.

Here's an interesting fact for those of you into "what if's." Mike had 367
multipliers and only lost to K1TEO by 53,486 points. If Mike had worked
another 146 QSO points, he would have won. If two stations had roved and taken
50,144,222,432 & 1296 with them and worked Mike from eight grids each plus he
worked two more stations on 6M, he would have won!

Maybe we need to plan something big for next summer to surprise the East
Coast!

Congrats NLRS and Mike!
