We had a positive experience.....

We had a handful of people through out our 900 mile trip stop to ask
questions and to talk.

At one point in the trip around 1:00am in middle of no where near Sterling,
Il a deputy sherriff stopped at the local cornfield we had setup next to. He
hung out for about 10 minutes watching us work and talking with us. He
thought it was pretty neat and that we had picked a nice quite location. (I
have some pictures from this location after he left.)

Ian kc0itq had a good suggestion: We should remember to take a quick picture
with the digital camera of everyone that stops. It would be kid of fun and
easy since we running with 2 people for the KC0LBT/R station.

I think that I might add a sign to the rover trailer on back says something
about amature radio.

What a fun contest.... can we do it again?
