Hi all,

I had fun operating as a rover while giving out some
contacts on the high bands.

I was on the air from 1:30-5:15PM on Saturday and from about
1PM- 6:45PM on Sunday. I operated in the local grids EN34 and
EN35. I didn't travel further since my goal was to activate the
bands about 900 MHz.

Here is my contest breakdown:

   50 MHz 0Q 0G
  144MHz 30Q 5G
  222MHz 0Q 0G
  432MHz 18Q 3G
902MHz 6Q 1G ----We must get someone else on from EN35
 1296MHz 10Q 2G
 2304MHz 8Q 2G
 3456MHz 4Q 2G
 5760MHz 3Q 2G
10368MHz 10Q 2G

Totals 89Q 19G + 2 Rover grids activated = 21G total
Score 4492 pts.

Equipment:
144MHz 25W to a Squalo for SSB or a 5/8 wavelength Vertical for
FM.
   432 MHz 3W to a 8 element quagi at 15'
   902 MHz 6W to a 10 element VJB beam at 12'
  1296MHz 1/2W to a 10 element VJB beam at 10'
  2304MHz 1W to a 21 element loop yagi at 8'
  3456MHz 40mW to a 2' dish or a soup can feed horn.
5760MHz 20mW to a Coax to Waveguide transition.
 10368MHz 1W to a 18" offset dish.

I hope you all had a good time. Remember to send in your entries
and write Northern Lights Radio Society on them.

73, Gary WB0LJC
